Mattson Tomlin is set to host an upcoming episode of Game of Thrones.
The announcement of another Game of Thrones spin-off series confirms that this world will expand even further.
Aegon’s victory
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Mattson Tomlin is working with HBO to develop a Game of Thrones series focusing on ‘Aegon’s Conquest’. Tomlin participated in the writing of The Batman (although he was not credited) and is one of the writers of this version of the Dark Knight series.
Variety previously reported that an Aegon Conquest sequel was planned, and now The Hollywood Reporter says the show will be “going back to basics.” It’s interesting to see Aegon the Conqueror at the center of the project, as he’s frequently mentioned in Game of Thrones. He is also the ancestor of Aegon II Targaryen, who appears in Dragon House.
