A star from the Marvel Cinematic Universe is close to joining Jurassic World 4.
Scarlett Johansson in the Jurassic Park franchise?
According to journalist Jeff Snyder, Scarlett Johansson may play the lead role in Jurassic World 4, replacing Chris Pratt, who starred in the previous three films. Snyder confirmed that the MCU actress will meet with director Gareth Edwards and Jurassic Park producer Frank Marshall. However, at this time it is not known if Johansson has accepted the offer from Universal Pictures, so this information cannot yet be taken as confirmation that Johansson has been chosen to star in Jurassic World IV.
Currently, there are not many details about the plot of the next film in the franchise, it is only said that the film will be called Jurassic City. Original Jurassic Park screenwriter David Cope is writing the script and Steven Spielberg is producing alongside Marshall. It is also said that the project will serve as a reboot of the saga, and it is not expected that the characters of the previous episodes will return.
