Nicolas Cage talks about his involvement in the live-action Spider-Man Noir

Recent reports have linked Nicolas Cage to the live-action Spider-Man Noir sequel.

Nicolas Cage has confirmed that rumors linking him to the live-action Spider-Man Noir are true.

Nicolas Cage may play Spider-Man Noir beyond animation.

In an interview with Collider, Cage addressed rumors that he will star in the live-action Spider-Man Noir show. Although the actor has confirmed that these reports are true, he also clarified that they were only talks, so his participation in the series is still uncertain.

“Well, I can say we’ve been talking. It’s no secret that I love the character. I think the character presents another kind of combination. I’ve combined my favorite performances from the Golden Age, Robinson, Cagney, Bogart, with a character from, I think, Stan Lee’s widely considered masterpiece. I see it as a Lichtenstein-style fusion of pop art [junguiano], joined by Bogart and Cagney, but no finale yet. “It’s just talk.”

The show is Sony’s collaboration with MGM+ and Prime Video, as the studio wants its Spider-Man universe projects to air on MGM+ before coming to Amazon’s platform. Chris Miller and Phil Lord, the brains behind the animated Arachnid films, are the series’ executive producers.
