Drew Goddard directs The Matrix 5
Warner Bros. is developing The Matrix 5 despite the failure of the fourth installment of the franchise.
The Matrix universe is still alive.
Drew Goddard, best known as the creator of the Netflix series Daredevil, is writing, directing and producing The Matrix 5. However, according to Variety, Lana will be producing a new installment of the popular science fiction franchise. Currently, it is unknown whether Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss will be part of The Matrix 5.

There is still no release date for The Matrix 5.
