DC is about to launch a new series focusing on young superheroes like Stephanie Brown’s Batgirl.
Artist Travis Mercer has been publishing sketches of some characters from the DC Universe, which will be part of the new series. Mercer started sharing the images last week, and has provided a preview of what we can expect from DC Comics next.
The new team that defends the DC Universe
A title in the works features a team of young superheroes including Stephanie Brown’s Batgirl, Thunderheart, Surge, Fairplay, Quiz Kid and Animal Girl.
On the other hand, the artist revealed that the story is being written by Jeremy Adams, who is responsible for the current Green Lantern series. We share the original post below.

Mercer then went on to share more images of the mysterious DC series, which features one of Mr. Terrific’s son Fairplay and his sidekick, Quiz Kid.
At this time, there are not many details about this project, so we have to wait for an official announcement to find out what the new series will focus on these DC comics superheroes.
