The Eternals actor may return in the 2021 film sequel.
A new report claims that Forever will have a sequel that will bring back one of the actors from the original film.
Icaris returns to the MCU
The Marvel Cinematic Universe Season 4 movie ends with Arishem taking the members of this super-powered group back to Earth to judge them for stopping the rise of Theat. By that end, many fans were wondering when we would see these characters again to find out what would happen to them. Fortunately, Marvel Studios may already be working on an Eternals series.
Insider Daniel Richman has shared new information, revealing that the sequel to the 2021 film is currently in development. Richtman also comments that Richard Madden will return as Icaris.
The last time we see Icaris is when he ends his own life by flying away from Earth to the Sun. However, since our main characters are celestial beings, Madden can easily return.
If this report is true, the first question we can ask is when will it come? Let’s remember that in the coming years Marvel Studios has to release movies like Captain America 4, Blade, Spider-Man 4, Deadpool 3, Fantastic Four, Thunderbolts, Shang-Chi 2 and the two Avengers. In the year Rumors have also surfaced about other projects including Thor 5, Doctor Strange 3 and X-Men, which will have screenwriters in early 2024.
Marvel should work hard to reorganize their entire schedule and if they are actually making Eternals 2 it should be a more appealing movie to the general public.
