The Immortals franchise returns with a reboot starring Henry Cavill
Chad Stahelski, the director behind The Immortals remake, has confirmed that the Henry Cavill-starrer will feature Queen’s songs from the original film.
Queen will be in The Immortals reboot.
One of the most memorable elements of the original film is the sequence of songs recorded by the British rock band Queen. In fact, one of them, “Princes of the Universe”, later served as the theme song for the Immortals TV show.
Now, in an interview with TheWrap, Stahelski has revealed what he plans to do with this classic reboot. The director told the newspaper that Queen’s songs will be brought back for the film. However, Stehelsky explained that the film’s music will be implemented differently and that Queen’s songs will have their own role in the project.
Curiously, six of Queen’s nine songs from the album “A Kind of Magic” were part of the original Immortals movie soundtrack.
We don’t know what the director meant when he said that the songs will be performed differently, but now that it has been confirmed that Queen’s music will be in a remake, fans of the saga can rest assured.
