From Fluttershy to Rainbow Dash: Special Edition Magic: The Gathering Fans
Just when we think we’ve seen it all, World of Magic: The Gathering surprises us. And this time, it was with some very special miniatures. Yes, you read that right, the adorable My Little Pony ponies are returning to the magic table with a special edition: Secret Lair. These new letters will join the ones already submitted about Lord of the Rings or future collaborations with Doctor Who in the coming years. But what is so special about this collaboration?
Unity with the heart
Behind this magical collaboration is a purpose of unity. Wizards of the Coast has teamed up with the popular My Little Pony franchise for the second time and released a new set of cards titled Ponies: Galloping 2. But not only that, it’s also his 10th anniversary of working with Extra Life. Together, they have been supporting Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and the Seattle Children’s Autism Center.
This special set not only features amazing cards inspired by the franchise’s characters, but also represents the direct sequel to the 2019 release, Ponies: The Galloping. Among the characters that star on these cards we find Applejack, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash. A collection that will make fans of both universes dazzle.
Legacy of the Ponies: Galloping and its Impact on the Magical Universe
The first meeting between Magic: The Gathering and My Little Pony in 2019 was something no one expected. The Ponies: Galloping Edition was released, leaving its mark on both communities. The perfect combination between the magical design of the cards and the popular characters of the series has managed to attract both fans of the card game and those who follow the adventures of the ponies.

Wizards of the Coast didn’t just offer an amazing collection. They’re dedicated to one cause: “For every purchase of Survivor: Galloping 2, Wizards of the Coast Wizards will donate fifty percent of the profits to the Seattle Children’s Autism Center for More Lives. The cards also feature unique designs by Rudy Siswanto, John Tucker, and Anna Steinbauer and have their own mechanics. They promise to be collectibles, even if they aren’t accurate to the races. Available in both foil and regular finishes from September 18th to November 6th.
The community around Wizards of the Coast has raised nearly €5 million to support sick and injured children treated at Children’s Miracle Network hospitals across North America.
