Summary

Lord Lud, the “God of Destruction” in Dragon Ball GT, has the ability to turn anyone into a puppet with one blast from his laser eyes. While not a true god, Lord Lud’s power is greater than Lord Beerus, the God of Destruction in Dragon Ball Super. While it would be difficult for Lord Ludd to hit Lord Beerus with his power, the fact remains that he has the power to defeat Beerus in one hit, something not many in the Dragon Ball Multiverse can say.

The Gods of Destruction in Dragon Ball are some of the most powerful entities in the universe, and none are more powerful than Lord Beerus – at least, that’s what fans thought, as there is one ‘God of Destruction’ introduced in Dragon Ball GT. Able to defeat Lord Beerus in one move.

Lord Beerus made his debut in Dragon Ball Super Season 1 with Akira Toriyama and Toyotarou, and it was clear from the start that he was an unparalleled threat. In this chapter, Lord Beerus travels to Earth in search of the entity known as the Super Saiyan God after having a vision of his own death at the hands of a being. While Beerus’s Saiyan fighters (Goku and Vegeta) were by no means strong enough to kill him, Beerus saw value in their seemingly limitless abilities and decided to recruit them as personal members of the Universal Fighters. Now, in the current episode of Dragon Ball Super, Goku and Vegeta are training on Beerus’ world–even though Beerus knows he’s out with the GT ‘God of Destruction’, it’s clear that he’s the one who needs some. More training instead.

Lord Lud can turn Lord Beerus into an invincible puppet with one blast.

Dragon Ball GT God of Destruction is stronger than Beerus.

In Dragon Ball GT Season 1, Episode 13 (written by Aya Matsui, directed by Osamu Kasai, animated by Toei Animation), Pan, Trunks, and Goku find themselves on a strange alien world in pursuit of the Black Star Dragon Balls–a world dedicated to the worship of the god of destruction Lord Lud. In this episode, Trunks and Goku are fighting Lord Lud, who was resurrected a few episodes ago. While Lud has been worshiped as the God of Destruction by his dedicated followers for decades, Trunks and Goku learn that he is not really a god but rather a super powerful android known as the Machine Mutant. However, since Lud has one power that can beat Lord Beerus, his title of God of Destruction is still well-earned – a true God of Destruction – as if it didn’t matter.

One of Lord Ludd’s trademark powers in Dragon Ball GT is his ability to turn anyone he uses with his laser eyes into a puppet, with no clear limits placed on his victims power level. This means that no matter how strong a person is, they can be turned into a puppet – and that includes Lord Beerus. In previous battles with lesser foes, Lord Beerus was seen toying with his opponents instead of outright finishing them off. In his first fight with Goku, Beerus dodged Goku’s attack by knocking him on the forehead and then stopping the fight entirely with a simple tap on his shoulder. This back and forth combat gives Lord Lud the leverage he needs to send a single unexpected blast from his eyes straight into the unprepared Lord Burrus’ body – effectively turning him into a powerless puppet.

It should be noted that while Lord Ludd has a special power that allows him to defeat Lord Beerus in one shot, unless Beerus completely drops his guard, it will be near impossible to get that shot. given the established hubris). But beating Dragon Ball GT’s ‘God of Destruction’ Lord Beerus with a single blast is not something that can be easily dismissed as it’s a powerful blast that practically outshines anyone else. It could mean the Dragon Ball Multiverse–including Goku and Vegeta.
