Actor Jeremy Renner, who plays Hawkeye, talks about his future in the MCU
Many fans think we’ll see Hawkeye again in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, especially after Jeremy Renner’s tragic accident. Fortunately, the actor is willing to return.
Jeremy Renner wants to return
We last saw Renner playing Clint Barton in the Disney+ series Hawkeye. Since then, some Marvel fans have been waiting for the next project in which he can be seen. However, last year Renner suffered a serious injury in a snowmobile accident. Hence, Hawkeye is left in the air as the actor needs a long recovery period due to the severity of the injury.
Although the recovery process has not been easy, Renner told Entertainment Tonight that he is willing to work with Marvel Studios again.
“I’ll always be ready. I’ll be strong enough, that’s for sure. I’ll be ready. “All those people have come to my bedside and been with me through this whole recovery, so… they can have me if they want.”
Renner’s words certainly indicate that despite what has happened to him, he wants to return to the big screen, and if necessary, he does not want to train to work on an MCU project. This way, Marvel fans can rest assured on the actor’s side, the question is whether the studio will use the character in future movies or series. Let’s hope and see the hero for a longer time.
