Isaac is described as the quiet and powerful leader of a multi-armed group, who first seeks freedom, but is ironically trapped in a never-ending battle with the enemy.

The Last Age 2: Beyond Adaptation

Also making a special appearance is the talented Kathryn O’Hara.

Behind the scenes, Craig Mazin and Neil Druckman, along with directors such as Peter Hoar, Mark Mylod, Nina Lopez-Corrado, Stephen Williams and Kate Heron, are committed to maintaining the quality and feel of the series.

Craig Mazin on our final destiny

In an interview with Variety in the summer of 2023, Craig Mazin confirmed that as long as viewers continue to support the series, there will be a third season of The Last of Us. Mazin also talked about the possible return of familiar characters in flashbacks and why there won’t be a Bill & Frank episode.

The series won’t end with a second season unless people stop watching and it gets cancelled. We are going to do some things right in the game, some differently and some will be surprising even to fans of the game. There’s always the chance that familiar characters like Melanie Lynskey and Storm Reid will make a flashback. We are never bound by a timeline. Dead characters can reappear and we can meet other people we haven’t seen before.
