Apparently, Marvel plans to hire another screenwriter for the Blade movie
More than four years after the announcement, Blade still seems to be facing a number of problems that are keeping the project from moving forward on a regular basis.

The Mahershala Ali starrer has gone through different directors and writers and while the film seems to have found the right team, a new rumor suggests that the people at Marvel Studios are not completely convinced with the current script.
According to Daniel Richman, they are currently looking for a new writer to make another major revision to the script. However, the insider commented that it is already clear where the overall story will go, so the rewrite will be to improve certain points of the script. In addition, the report indicated that the filming of the Marvel Cinematic Universe movie will begin later this year in Mexico or Brazil.
On the other hand, Richtman said the casting call was for a male lead. Unfortunately, it is not specified which feature it is.
Blade hits theaters on November 7, 2025.
