Summer 2024 Naoko Yamada, acclaimed director of A Silent Voice, returns with the world premiere of The Colors Within (Kiminoiro). This new sci-fi production promises to captivate anime fans once again with its unique charm and a story that explores the emotional colors of youth.

GKIDS, which is responsible for distribution in North America, Latin America, Australia and New Zealand, plans to release the film in the summer of 2024, making The Colors Within a global hit. Anime Limited will also be responsible for bringing the film to the UK, Ireland and across Europe, while PLAION PICTURES will manage the Italian and German-speaking territories. Charades cooperates in sales management for the rest of Europe and other specified territories.
The film was released in 2010. It will debut in Japan on August 30, 2024 and will have its world premiere at the Annecy International Animated Film Festival, between June 9 and 15 of that year.
