According to MyTimeToShineHello, Marvel wants Ryan Coogler, the director of the two Black Panther movies, to direct an X-Men project for the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The insider also said that Kevin Feige and his team want Coogler to direct the third installment of Black Panther.
If the information is true, Coogler is a good choice to direct Mutants as he has proven that he has a great talent for handling drama and doesn’t waste serious moments with unnecessary jokes. Now, it’s hard to believe that Coogle is behind the MCU’s X-Men and has time to make Black Panther 3.
Recent reports have confirmed that mutation production in It’s late 2025, so there’s still a long way to go before Marvel makes any significant announcements about this project.
