The series set in the Star Wars universe, The Acolyte, receives a tentative debut date
It was announced that The Acolyte will arrive on Disney+ in 2024.
Acolyte will be part of the 2024 Star Wars series.
Taking place 100 years before the events of The Phantom Menace, the program is one of the most anticipated by fans of the galactic saga. Now, thanks to a Collider report, the series is known to have a summer 2024 release date.
Acolyte focuses on her former padawan and her former master as they realize a greater threat is looming from the shadows. The show’s cast includes Amandla Stenberg, Lee Jung-Jae, Jonas Sutamo, Jodie Turner-Smith, Manny Jacinto, Charlie Barnett, Dean Charles Chapman, Carrie Ann-Moss, Rebecca Henderson and Daphne Keen.
This project has the perfect opportunity to delve deeper into the Sith, showing how they were plotting to seize power (appearing in the Star Wars prequel trilogy).
