Star Wars movie starring Daisy Ridley is looking for actors to bring life to two Jedi apprentices and a main villain.
New information has been shared about some of the Star Wars franchises, such as Rey and the Mandalorian and Project Groove.
Ray’s film development
At this point, not much is known about the untitled Star Wars movie (currently called New Jedi Order) that will bring Daisy Ridley back as Rey. However, insider Daniel Richman has published a new report detailing the cast.
Richman revealed that Disney and director Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy are in the process of casting three actors to play important roles in the film, two of whom are Ray’s apprentices and the other is the main villain. The insider took the opportunity to clarify that this film will not be the first in a new trilogy. Additionally, filming is planned in the UK this year or early 2025. The report claims that Angela Bassett has met with people at Lucasfilm about something related to Star Wars and is thought to be a film for that.

Richman thinks filming for Ahsoka’s second season is set for later this year, possibly in the fourth quarter. On the other hand, insiders believe that production on The Mandalorian and Grog will begin soon and will likely be filmed in Los Angeles and the UK.
