Netflix’s version of Avatar: The Last Airbender has been renewed for additional seasons
The Netflix adaptation of Avatar: The Last Airbender will have two more seasons.
The Adventures of Ang continues on Netflix.
According to Variety, the live-action finale of the Airbender series will end in season 3, making it the same number of seasons as the Nickelodeon animated show. Remember that the first series is divided into three books: Water, Earth and Fire, so the second season will show the moments seen in book 2, and the third will fix the events of book 3.
Avatar Renewal: The Last Airbender seems to indicate that Netflix is happy with the viewership numbers, and the show debuted as the most-watched project on the service during the week of February 19th and 25th. If we look at the data, the series received 21.2 million views in the first four days of being on the platform. In fact, the program reached a figure that represented 15% more than that achieved by 1 Piece, the adaptation that debuted in August 2023 with 18.5 million views.
