In a surprising twist of fate, after TNT decided to cancel the series in 2022, a decision brought about by Warner Bros. Discovery’s restructuring of content, AMC took over the reins of “Snowpiercer.” Now, holding on to the rights, AMC has promised to bring this saga, which was born from the graphic novel by Jacques Loeb and Jean-Marc Rochette and became an international hit in the 2013 film of the same name.
“Snowpiercer” is more than just a ride on a train that’s constantly moving. It is humanity’s last stronghold in a world turned into a frozen desert. Here, class tension, social injustice and existential politics are intertwined in a narrative that no one cares about.

Season three will keep viewers on the edge of their seats as Layton and Ruth are chased into Big Alice’s fertilizer wagon and devise a plan to take control of the Ice Piercer. As Leighton and his inner circle search for a warm place to restart Melanie and civilization, in Snowpiercer, Mr. Wilford ramps up his powers, awaiting Leighton’s return and preparing for a momentous showdown.

The master manipulator behind the train’s advanced technology promises to be the culmination of this saga with a masterful Sean Bean showdown with Mr. Wilford.
