X-23 in the MCU
The recent Deadpool 3 rumor linking Daphne Keane to the Marvel Cinematic Universe film has made it clear that the studio’s negotiations with the actress have ended due to the actors’ strike. Now that an agreement has been reached with the alliance, Marvel Studios has reportedly convinced Keen to join the MCU.
According to insider Daniel Richman, Daphne Keen will reprise her role as Laura Kinney, aka X-23, in Deadpool’s third installment. If this information was true, Keane would probably have closed the deal shortly after the actors’ strike ended. Earlier reports said Keen’s role would be small, little more than a cameo. The last and only time we saw the actress as X-23 was in James Mangold’s 2017 film Logan.
Deadpool 3 hits theaters on July 26, 2024.
