Knights of the Seven Kingdoms is a prequel in the Game of Thrones universe, which was responsible for adapting the A Song of Ice and Fire novels by George RR Martin. This spin-off is based on the Dunk and Egg trilogy stories.
The site TVLine shared that David Zaslav has confirmed that the new spin on the popular franchise is coming. During Warner Bros. Discovery’s fourth-quarter earnings call, Zaslav said the show will debut in late 2025.
Although the company is currently planning to expand the Game of Thrones universe by launching various projects, the fact is that they are taking their time to produce quality content. After the last season of the original show, they should be more careful when doing a pilot series and don’t give the green light to anything. Because of this, only Dragon House has been released since 2019, and Knights of the Seven Kingdoms will take a while to arrive.
