Michael Douglas wanted to kill Hank Pym in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.

In an interview with The View, Douglas was asked if he could elaborate on his comments about wanting Hank Pym to be killed off in Ant-Man 4 . It was really for the third movie.
“Actually, this was my third question. [película]. I said I want to have one [muerte] Heavy, with all these amazing special effects. Whatever it is, there has to be some fantastic way I can explode while shrinking to the size of an ant. But now I don’t think it will be seen.”
Ant-Man 3 screenwriter Jeff Loveness revealed in an earlier interview that Douglas’ wish was about to come true.
“At one point we were going to kill Hank, and I was going to bring him back to life. His consciousness resides in the ants, and he would control them mentally. Yeah, it was just going to be an ant brain, and I love it… it wasn’t. “It was too far.”
