Marvel wants to take on the werewolf in the night on a new series of redemption trips

After getting his own special in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Werewolf by Night will now star in a new series in the comics.

What’s next for Jack Russell?

The new Werewolf in the Night takes Marvel’s next event, Blood Hunt, as its premise. Series writer Jason Lo details what we can expect in the next chapter of Jack Russell’s life.

“I’m going to give Jack Russell the taste of life he needs before a blood-hunting incident sweeps him up and gets blood on his hands. His new journey is to find redemption as he discovers his new lycanthropic transformation. No one is safe when it’s a full moon. But luckily, Elsa Bloodstone is around to arrest him.”

“Our team is delivering a very ironic monster comic and we’re not holding back. I’ve surprised myself by drawing these horrific scenes from the dark corners of my mind and then seeing them come to life in every detail. Thanks to pencil Sergio Davila and inker JP Meyer, our editors still give us a thumbs up.” “This is our favorite part of the Red Band comic.”

The series is part of the new Red Band comic line, which is aimed at adults. Sergio Dávila is responsible for painting, and he also took the opportunity to talk about his work.

“This is a great experience. Jason Lo is writing Wild Werewolf by Night and I’m having so much fun with the character. I always like to take characters to extremes and the werewolf is a man who suffers from his inner self at night, so this is a book full of intense action and lots of blood!

Werewolf of the Night #1 hits US comic book shelves on August 14th.
