How long will the Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes last?

The new film about the famous apes is directed by Wes Ball, best known for his work in the Maze Runner saga, and follows May, a wild young woman who is survived by a chimpanzee named Noah. A journey that will define the future of apes and humans. The cast includes Owen Teigen, Freya Allen, Kevin Durand, Peter McConnell and William H. They include Mac.

The film’s release date is approaching, and that’s why its duration has come to light. According to American cinema chain AMC’s listing, Planet of the Apes has a running time of two hours and 25 minutes. So this movie will be the longest in the franchise at five minutes.

By comparison, 2011’s Rise of the Planet of the Apes had a running time of one hour and 45 minutes, the shortest of the films included in this reboot. Then Planet of the Apes was released in 2014 for two hours and 10 minutes. Finally, at two hours and 20 minutes long, War for the Planet of the Apes was released in 2017.

Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes hits theaters on May 24, 2024.
