The media reported last week that actor Nicholas Hoult will be Lex Luthor in Superman: Legacy, a film that stars David Cornish as the iconic DC Comics superhero. A curious thing about this choice is that it was reported that Holt was one of the candidates to be Superman.
Hoult previously played the younger version of Hank McCoy in Fox’s X-Men movies, best played by Beast.
On the other hand, when Matt Reeves was looking for the right actor to star in Batman, Hoult was one of the first candidates to play the superhero.
Superman: Legacy has a July 2025 release date.
