Frustration in sight? Most of Deadpool and Wolverine take place in the same setting.

An early version of Deadpool and Wolverine shows the parts of the first X-Men movies

Ever since the first photos of Deadpool and Wolverine came to light, fans of the Marvel Universe have been wondering if most of the film will take place in the finale, which will share images of different characters in the same location. It’s reminiscent of that setting.

The trailer for the Marvel Cinematic Universe movie featured several moments in a space reminiscent of the void. Now, after long speculation, a new report suggests that the film will mostly take place there.

The void becomes key in Deadpool and Wolverine.

The Deadpool and Wolverine trailer confirmed Loki’s involvement in the AVT series, and hinted at Alioth’s presence, so many already thought The Void would be the setting we’re seeing after the release of set photos. However, it is not yet clear how they will connect Mer with the Aph movie into the multiverse saga. Now, interestingly, CanWeGetSomeToast has suggested that between 70 and 75% of Deadpool and Wolverine take place in The Void.

On the other hand, the insider claims that one of the original ideas for the film included the events of the first X-Men trilogy.

With more than half of the film taking place in The Void, we’re likely to see a number of fan-pleasingly brutal cameos. Unfortunately, there is another area where Deadpool’s third installment wants it to do what Doctor Strange 2 didn’t, show the character traveling through different universes. In any case, it is too early to draw conclusions, and the information shared has not been confirmed.

Deadpool and Wolverine hits theaters on July 26.
