Disney announces the release date of several upcoming movies
Disney has shared release dates for several of its highly anticipated upcoming projects.
The new release schedule
2026 will be a tough year for Disney as the mouse company prepares big releases. Toy Story 5 will be released on June 19, 2026, while The Mandalorian and Grog will arrive on May 22 of the same year. Meanwhile, the live-action Moana has been delayed, with its original release date of June 2025 now pushed to July 10, 2026. Finally, we have Tron: Ares debuting on October 20, 2025.
After Disney’s recent failures, Bob Iger is determined to regain the trust of fans, so the company can come up with everything in the coming years. Let’s remember that Star Wars will have two more movies and the Marvel Cinematic Universe has yet to release the next Avengers movies, while the Zootopia and Frozen sequels are in development.
