Cable is obviously not involved in the Deadpool and Wolverine story.

Josh Brolin, who was responsible for giving life to Cable, commented on the absence of Nathan Summers in Deadpool and Wolverine.

Marvel Studios didn’t call Josh Brolin.

In an interview with The Playlist, Brolin was asked what he thought about not being in Deadpool and Wolverine since his name appeared on the film’s IMDb listing. The actor took the opportunity to talk about the next film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, stating that this list is false.

“Marvel’s ‘Outer Zone’ is the most complicated mess ever, my friend. And I’ll never know where it went or what it was or what I was or wasn’t involved in – the MCU is now involved. Cable was a lot of fun. I really enjoyed playing that role. That was fun.”

“Uh [Jackman]I am absolutely in love with him. Now I know Ray [Reynolds] And I’ve met Hugh twice, and I think he forgot when he was doing ‘Logan’! I mean, Scott Frank, who wrote it, is a good friend of mine and I think the association [estos personajes] It’s just wonderful. And Hugh, I don’t know how old Hugh is now. Are you 56, 57? I mean seriously, the man never ages. So yes. “I’m a big fan of his.”

If Cable doesn’t actually appear in the movie, it’s probably because Marvel is saving him for another project. When the actor himself wants to return, the studio will not let Josh Brolin go.

Deadpool and Wolverine hits theaters on July 26, 2024.
