Daisy Ridley’s New Star Wars-Related Project May Show Rey Forming New Jedi Order
Actress Daisy Ridley, who gave life to Rey Skywalker in the last Star Wars trilogy, is excited to return to the famous story and confirmed that they are building a great story for their next film.
What can we expect from Daisy Ridley’s new film?
At this year’s Star Wars Celebration, Ridley made a surprise announcement that she will star in one of the next films in the galaxy franchise. Now the actress has revealed that the plot of the project focused on Ray is surprising.
In an interview with Collider, Ridley talked about the next Star Wars movie taking place after the events of the sequel trilogy.
“I’m very excited. The story is very good. I’m looking forward to reading the script because I don’t have any obvious updates. “It’s not what I expected, but I’m excited.”
Ridley also thinks that Rey’s movie could be the first in theaters before the Mandalorian and the James Mangold project are placed in the timeline. The actress also confirmed that she only knows the story of one film, so this film will not be the beginning of a new trilogy.
“I know the plot of the film. Not to say that’s all, but that’s what I was told. And I think it will be the next post-strike movie, how quickly everything starts again. But yes, I know the story of the film so far and I think people will really enjoy it.
Right now, there aren’t many details on the film except that it will be directed by Charmaine Obaid-Chinoy and is expected to show Rey creating a new Jedi order.
