Ford says, “When we told Kathy Kennedy that we wanted that Amblin tone, and she’s perfected it over the years, she told us that they don’t think of those movies as children’s movies. Speaking about his character in the series, Jude Law said: “I can’t say much about my character. He is the person the children encounter when they try to return home. They face it like most of the world: a place of conflict, sometimes a place of care and other times a place of danger.

The series’ child actors are played by Ravi Cabot-Conyers, Kyriana Kratter, Robert Timothy Smith and Ryan Kiera Armstrong.
