In an interview with ScreenGeek, Raimi was asked about the rumors linking him to Avengers: Secret Wars. The filmmaker’s response has been overwhelmingly positive, though he hasn’t confirmed the rumors that have been surfacing in recent months, saying he’s interested in working with Marvel again.
“I love 90% of the Marvel heroes I’ve read in Stan Lee’s best comics. I would love to work with Marvel again. They didn’t ask me for a reason. I hope you have a good experience with me. They haven’t asked me yet. I hope they do.
Raimi’s words are pretty clear, if Marvel Studios wants the legendary director to take over Secret Wars, all they have to do is ask him.
