Destin Daniel Crayton will not be the director of Avengers 5
It has been announced that Destin Daniel Cretton will no longer direct Avengers: The Kang Dynasty to pursue other projects.
Crayton will leave Avengers 5 but will continue with Marvel
According to Deadline, Krayton is leaving Avengers 5, saying the departure is amicable. Of course, the filmmaker will continue to collaborate with the studio on other projects in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
The report confirmed that Crayton is currently working on the Disney+ show, Wonder Man. The report also notes that the director is committed to the Shang-Chi series. These projects are part of Crayton’s deal with Marvel Studios and All Onyx Collective.
Now the team behind the MCU will have the tough task of finding the right director for the next Avengers movie. Let’s hope Marvel can pull it off.
