In the Harry Potter and the Prince half-blood movie, it looks like Death eaters have invaded Hogwarts Without any resistance. They enter inside, Snape kills Dumbledore and they leave school. There is a small unilateral duel between Snape and Harry, but nothing else. Books, however, tell a completely different story. A massive duel between the order of the Phoenix and the eaters of death bursts.

When Harry continues Snape, he meets teachers and friends fighting many eaters of death throughout the castle. Ginny fights against Amycus, McGonagall is against Alecto, Neville is injured, Bill is bitten by Fenrir Grayback, and many others are engaged in battle. The moment seems to be a prelude to the battle of Hogwarts, with many students, teachers and members of the order of Phoenix who fight to protect Hogwarts. In comparison, the film scene is quite disappointing.

The two teachers and the Auror fought Voldemort for a long time, presenting their exceptional magic prowess. Keeping Voldemort remotely is not an easy feat, and Voldemort has managed to kill any. This duel shows that, after all, Voldemort is always human, one aspect that the films forget.

In the book, just before the start of the Hogwarts battle, McGonagall tires of Snape’s investigation into Harry and takes out his wand.
