The next HBO Harry Potter Restarting has large shoes to fill, but it also has a wide range of opportunities at its disposal. THE Harry Potter The films have shaped a generation of Potterheads, but they also modify or omit many beloved books of books. A television renewal means that more time and care can be given to source equipment and, hopefully, to rectify some of the errors in the original series. Such an error is the lack of screen assistant duels.
THE Harry Potter The films not only change the essence of the duel, but they completely ignore some of the best duels of sorcerer from books. These assistant duels not only present the talents and skills of a character, but often say a lot about their relationships and their loyalties. From the struggle of Hagrid and McGonagall against Umbridge to Bellatrix defeating Tonks, these duels of the epic assistant only remember Harry Potter Book fans.
Updated on January 28, 2025, by Andrea Sandoval: There are a lot in Harry Potter’s books that have never entered the film, including some of the most epic duels between witches and wizards. The complete extent of the battle of the Astronomy Tower
Harry Potter and the Prince half-blood
In the Harry Potter and the Prince half-blood movie, it looks like Death eaters have invaded Hogwarts Without any resistance. They enter inside, Snape kills Dumbledore and they leave school. There is a small unilateral duel between Snape and Harry, but nothing else. Books, however, tell a completely different story. A massive duel between the order of the Phoenix and the eaters of death bursts.

When Harry continues Snape, he meets teachers and friends fighting many eaters of death throughout the castle. Ginny fights against Amycus, McGonagall is against Alecto, Neville is injured, Bill is bitten by Fenrir Grayback, and many others are engaged in battle. The moment seems to be a prelude to the battle of Hogwarts, with many students, teachers and members of the order of Phoenix who fight to protect Hogwarts. In comparison, the film scene is quite disappointing.

Voldemort Combat McGonagall, Kingsley and Slughorn
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows
Hogwarts battle was much more complex and dynamic than it seems Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2. The film gives a general feeling of battle, but it does not portray the individual and epic duels between the order of the Phoenix and the eaters of death. One of the most epic battles, and one that people were impatient to see on the big screen, was between Voldemort and McGonagall, Kingsley and Slughorn.

It is a duel that the Fandom would have loved to see, but there was not much time in the films, unfortunately.

Fawkes The Phoenix swallows a curse to kill
Harry Potter and the Order of Phoenix
Tom Riddle and Albus Dumbledore are incredibly powerful wizards. Naturally, Dumbledore’s confrontation with Lord Voldemort Harry Potter and the Order of Phoenix is one of the strengths of the film series. However – as usual – things decrease very differently in books. Originally, Dumbledore obtained tons of aid in the assistant duel, which means the recurring theme of the strength of the series in numbers. Dumbledore charms the statues of the ministry to life, which come to the rescue and help. We take the murder curse to save Harry and continue to protect him, while another Bellatrix attack (which prevents him from helping Voldemort), and another charge at Voldemort.

However, Dumbledore’s true Savior is Fawkes, who swallows one of the curses killed which is launched on the director. The book duel is also much faster than its film counterpart. This means the really intense and well suited nature of these two wizards. The film shows Dumbledore’s duel with Voldemort, but it omits additional players who help bring this confrontation to life. The end result is a sorcerer’s duel which is quite different from that which fans know the books.

The other teachers team up against Snape
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 Give fans an McGonagall duel against memorable Snape, but it absolutely looks like the version of the events that occur in the Death Clines Source material. This confrontation rather incorporates McGonagall’s confrontation with carrows for an adaptation to the more dramatic screen. In the book, just before the start of the Hogwarts battle, McGonagall tires of Snape’s investigation into Harry and takes out his wand. What follows is an epic and chaotic battle between qualified teachers, with a lasso of McGonagall fire and a giant black snake snake.

This leads Snape to withdraw and disappear overnight. Unfortunately, like most of the Hogwarts cinematographic battle scenes, the real sorcerer’s duel never goes to the screen in all its glory. The cinematographic version cannot be compared with the emblematic duel book whose fans remember.

Voldemort is fueled by the death of Bellatrix
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows
Bellatrix Lestrange remains the most devoted massage of Lord Voldemort until the end of the end. THE Harry Potter The films display their relationship as quite unilateral, but the books highlight the need for Voldemort for Bellatrix in more than one occasion. The importance of Bellatrix for the Lord of Darkness is particularly important during his duel which immediately follows his death Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.

Voldemort, before the death of Bellatrix, was locked in an intense battle with McGonagall, Slughorn and Shacklebolt. Bellatrix is struck by the curse to kill Molly and Voldemort shouts his loss. This fury is soon transferred to Voldemort’s wand and the other three are quickly eliminated from their feet in a quick explosion. The assistant’s duel not only proves Voldemort’s dependence on his best death eater, but also the way in which rage feeds the magic capacities of the Lord of Darkness. The film never touches this significant detail and the penultimate Duel of Voldemort is known only to reserve readers.

Adult Harry & Draco Duel as children
Harry Potter and the cursed child
Harry Potter and the cursed child is widely ignored by many pots of potter. The scenario is less like a new canonical chapter in the world of wizards, but rather a piece of fan fiction. This is particularly true with regard to the duel of Harry and Draco in act two. Draco comes to talk to Harry as he worries about Scorpius. Harry, afflicted by the offspring of Voldemort, questions the parentage of Scorpius and Draco is angry with his wand.

The resulting assistant duel is not so much a skill test that it is a cheeky verbal argument that is thrown back and forth, which is at least entertaining for Draco and Harry shipowners. This quarrel also demonstrates the changed dynamics of Draco and Harry as they have gone from the rivals of the Amers school to adult bets which can face their differences (although not in the most mature way). Harry Potter and the cursed child has not yet been adapted for the big screen, so this entertaining duel between Draco and Harry remains a hidden jewel for fans who saw the game or read his book.

Flitwick Beats A Meau de Decrees
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows
THE Harry Potter The series has many talented and valued teachers, but not all are allocated while they deserve in cinematographic adaptations. Filius Flitwick is the quintessence. Flitwick is one of the most loyal and courageous teachers in Hogwarts, not to mention a qualified duelist. This is properly proven during the events of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.

Antonin Dolohiv (speculated) |
Among its many duels, the most neglected victory of Filius Flitwick is that against Antonin Dolohov, one of the most reliable and competent death eaters in Voldemort. The role of Dolohov in the films is also minimal, but it is at least present during some of the most notorious companies of death eaters, such as the confrontation of the astronomy tower or helping to find the Golden Trio at the cafe. Flitwick’s Wizard duel with Dolohov is mentioned in nine words, but Flitwick’s ability to eliminate the threatening and skillful death eater testifies to the teacher’s magical expertise. The very brief nature of the fight and the ambiguous end also makes it more forgettable than the other sorcerer’s duels. It is a real duel of the deep cut of which only fans of hardcore books remember.
