THE Yu-Gi-Oh! The franchise has several types of powerful cards. The cards of Egyptian God of the original Yu-Gi-Oh! anime or the sacred animals of Yu-Gi-Oh! Gx were all extremely solid cards that could easily turn the wave of a duel. However, none of them was as abundant or varied as the digital cards of Yes-Oh! Zance. These extraordinary XYZ monsters were held by key characters from Yes-Oh! Zance And were essential to understand its history.
Unlike other archetypes of cards, digital cards all have an aesthetic and extremely different capacities. Number 39: The heroic and chivalrous stature of utopia is very different from number 9, the gigantic Dyson sphere. Despite these differences, these cards still have a common origin. The creation of all 100 digital cards constitutes the backbone Yes-Oh! ZanceThe story, and the show would not be the same without them.
Digital cards contain astral memories
The battle of Don Thousand with Astral divided his memories in dozens of digital cards
The origins of digital cards are all linked to the old battle of Astral with Don Thousand. Before before Yes-Oh! Zance A started, Astral and Don Thousand would engage in a destructive duel which forced astral memories to be divided into 50 cards which contained his memories. These cards would finally find their way to Earth like digital cards, each with unique capacities depending on the personality of their owner. When Astral arrives for the first time on Earth, he and Yuma are looking for the different digital cards, so the stranger can resume his memories. By time Yes-Oh! Zance Begins, the Astral Age could compete with the oldest of the main characters in Shonen Anime.

March 1 will be a sad day for Yu-Gi-Oh fans
Yu-Gi-Oh! Anime fans will want to hurry and watch, because the current streaming house of the franchise loses several shows by the end of the month.
Finally, Astral learns that he had another goal to find his memory. He realizes that obtaining digital cards could allow his species in the astral world to obtain the Numeron code, a desired card that has created all life in the universe. The inhabitants of the astral world have competed with the extraterrestrial barians to find the code before the other side, allowing one side to destroy the other. Thus, it is up to Astral and Yuma to collect the remaining cards and manage the strange strange powers of their users.
Digital cards grant their users powerful skills at a serious cost
Digital cards can have their owners, amplifying their negative features
Yes-Oh! ZanceDigital cards are of all shapes and sizes. The fanciful and buffoon design of the number 7: Lucky Straight has very different capacities of the demonic aspect number 40: gimmick puppet of strings. Again, this is a whole product of the personalities of their owner. Lucky Straight’s owner Charlie McCay, used powers based on the card luck to dodge the Heartland police and divert a monorail. Cameron Clix, the owner of number 25: Force Focus, could predict the future of his opponent.

This emblematic franchise hides its roots as a series of horror for 30 years
Yu-Gi-Oh of Kazuki Takahashi! started as a horror manga, but these origins were increasingly buried by each new episode of the anime franchise.
Although these new capacities may seem powerful, they have a cost. The cards could have their owners, which made them act on their darkest impulses. When Cameron was possessed by Force Focus, he became much more ruthless and sadistic towards his opponents. He even endangers several people traveling on an airship flying over Heartland City, using his prediction powers to make the accident of the airship.
However, there is a way to avoid being possessed by digital cards. In the case of Shark, his friendship with Yuma allowed him to dominate the taking of this number 32, Shark Drake, was initially in the lead. We also see characters from the Vertix family use special crests to remove their grip of numbered cards. Dr. Faker also develops technology like the Photon hand, which allows its users to extract the digital cards from their opponents without being possessed by them.
Yuma can create new digital cards by merging with Astral
The power of Zexal allows Yuma to handle its digital cards according to utopia
Yuma Tsukumo’s link with Astral allows him to access powerful capacities. By merging with Astral, Yuma obtains the power of Zexal, allowing him to create unique registration cards based on his wonderfully designed utopia cards. Compared to its main utopia cards, number 39: Utopia roots and number F0: the utopian future is lower, but keep powerful card effects. Yuma also obtains his “ZW” cards in this form, which allow him to increase the attack power of his utopia monsters.
Yuma’s Zexal Powers are only strengthened as the anime events continue. The Battle of Sargasso allows Yuma to achieve its Zexal II form, allowing it to use its brilliant evolution competence to convert existing cards into new. He does so by transforming the Vector Barian Rank-Up-Magic force card into a Map of Numeron Force Rank-Up-Magic. This capacity is only used once, but it is assumed that Yuma can use a shiny evolution whenever he accesss his zexal form.
Kite technology allows him to hunt figures without being possessed
Hunter powerful technology can tear off digital cards without suffering from disadvantages
The Hunter number, Kite Tenjo, also has special capacities that allow it to capture digital cards. Kite has Dr Faker’s special photon hand, allowing it to extract a number of its owner’s number and steal their soul. Kite can also use a duel anchor that traps a digital card user and prevents them from escaping a duel with Kite. All these capacities have been provided to the kite by Dr FAKER, and the first arcs see kite bringing together the figures on its behalf.
Finally, Kite’s abilities increased after meeting the vertix family. Hart transfers part of his Bariens powers to Kite, allowing him to transform his photon dragon into the eyes of Galaxy into a digital monster. It also becomes one of the few people who can see astral and read the alternative language written on each number card. Its advanced technology has already made it formidable against users of the number, but the new Bariane capacities of Kite make it a real equal as a rival duelist.
Shark number card capacity is linked to its true role as Barian
Shark’s power develops a lot, the more he draws from his true nature
REGINALD KASTLE, also known as sharks, is exponentially developed in power during the events of Yes-Oh! Zance Thanks to its links with the figures. The start of the series was possessed by the shark by number 32: Shark Drake after having duel his rival Yuma. However, Yuma helps to slam the shark of his possession, allowing him to control Shark Drake without losing control. During his duel with Quattro, Shark merges his soul with Shark Drake, allowing him to make an invocation of Xyz chaos. Shark’s new C32: Shark Drake Weiss was powerful enough to defeat Quattro, but Shark’s powers would only grow even more.
Starting with the Arc d’Invasion Barian, Shark slowly finds his memories as a Barian emperor and his battles with Vector. Now called by its original name, Nash, the user number would begin to use more of its old powers. Like the other emperors, he can use a Battlemorph Barian to move on to his original appearance. In DULES, NASH can use the chaos draw capacity to automatically draw the card of the Magic-the seventh. Using chaos draw in its duels, Nash can easily summon any 10x or monster number of chaos on the ground. Nash’s strength is nothing to make fun, coming from a strong desire to protect his sister against damage.
