The future of the terrifying side of the MCU is addressed by the director of Werewolf by Night

Michael Giacchino offered an update on the possible sequel to Werewolf at night.

During a conversation with Brandon Davis, Giacchino broached the topic of a possible sequel to Werewolf by Night when asked if he will continue Jack Russell’s story.

“A lot has happened in the industry and everyone is recalibrating. I think certain things should be left aside for now. We’ll get there.”

Giacchino’s words should come as no surprise, as in October 2023 the composer-turned-director confirmed that there had been talk of a sequel to the horror special. However, Giacchino clarified that it is still more of a wish than something real.

“My wish is that yes, there was more with these characters. I’d love to, and I have ideas about what I’d like to do with them, and it’s all crazy, but I think it’s the only way to do it. So I hope one day. I hope one day.”
