Marvel Studios Director of Streaming, Television and Animation Ensures The Punisher Will Continue in the MCU After Daredevil: Born Again

The future of The Punisher in the MCU

Brad Winderbaum, head of streaming, television and animation at Marvel Studioswas featured on Phase Hero: A Film & TV Podcast and there confirmed that Frank Castle will return after Born Again. Winderbaum was asked if The Punisher was one of those characters who has a promising future in the UCMand the manager responded like this: “100%. We feel the same way! He (Bernthal) is fantastic in that role. “I can’t wait to see him on screen in this series, and there’s definitely a future for him in the MCU.”

Winderbaum’s statements do not confirm that Castle will have his own project, but it is clear that if the character was well received in Born Again, and knowing that he is one of the most beloved characters of the Marvel Universe in comics, the chances of this happening they happen are high.

Daredevil: Born Again will come to Disney+ on March 4, 2025.
