James Gunn Explains Whether He Will Write Another Marvel Cinematic Universe Movie

Now that James Gunn is taking over the DC Universe, the filmmaker is not involved with the Marvel Cinematic Universe projects.

Will James Gunn Never Work With Marvel?

Gunn is currently the creative head of the new DCU, that is, the director is responsible for the next DC movies and series. Although it is known that Gunn is currently working on the competition and is very busy, some fans want the director to return for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 4 or even a project focused only on Star-Lord.

On Threads, when Gunn was asked if he might return to Marvel, he said that he is currently one of the co-CEOs of DC Studios and cannot physically or legally write another MCU movie.

Gunn’s response shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone, as it’s a rare sight to see the head of DC Studios helming one of Marvel Studios’ upcoming releases. Also, Gunn can’t be everywhere, and he already has enough to do with the DC Universe.
