Marvel Studios’ Director of Broadcast, Television and Animation Reveals How the Idea to Retitle the Agatha Project Came to Be

The title was always Agatha All Along

ComicBook outlet asked Winderbaum whose idea it was to change the Marvel Cinematic Universe series title so many times and how they settled on the current one. Below we share Winderbaum’s response.

“Well, it was always Agatha All Along. We thought, ‘It’s going to be Agatha All Along.’ And then someone said, ‘You know what? We should make up a bunch of different titles to annoy the audience.’ We started with something like, ‘We’re going to do this as a fake backup.’ And they said, ‘Oh, actually, we’re going to do this as a fake commercial.’ And so it got more and more ridiculous.”

In Winderbaum’s words, the question of why finally Marvel Studios decided to change the title of the program can be terminated. The series of UCM will come with two episodes Disney+ September 18th.
