The history of the X-Men has been a roller coaster of emotions and conflicts, but now, at the end of the Krakow era, Marvel has surprised us with an announcement that will shake the foundations of the mutant universe. Current Avengers editor Tom Brevoort has shared that he will be taking over the X-Men titles after leaving Earth’s Mightiest Heroes at X (Twitter’s successor). Scheduled after the conclusion of the current X-Men arc, which chronicles the fall of Krakowan, this changing of the guard heralds a new era for these beloved characters.
In the year Beginning in 2019, the Krakoan era, in certain series House of X and for the people of Krakoan in X-Men: Hellfire Gala #1, Earth’s mutants were scattered and marked as fugitives. But far from giving up, the X-Men are gearing up for one last great battle against the Orchis in Floor of the House of X, which begins in January 2024 and the fall of the X-series.

The Krakow era is one of the most influential in X-Men history, a period characterized by dynamic unity and power.
