Moztros brings us a bizarre work with a very interesting proposal by mangaka Shintaro Kago, The Infinite Palace
Butts is in great shape and never ceases to surprise readers with its proposals. Without a doubt, the publisher knows that Asian comics have been experiencing a huge boom for many years, which is why they do not want to miss the opportunity to delve into manga. Shonen is very attractive, but every now and then you have to give opportunities to real rarities, as is the case of The Infinite PalaceFrom Shintaro Kago.
In case you didn’t know, Shintaro Kago he is a mangaka of the eroguro genre, a Japanese art style that originates from the protest against taboo subjects in Japanese society. In this genre we will see eroticism in equal parts as the purest blood, something that he brings with him in the work Butts there is plenty of it
Reality and infinite possibilities
The premise seems simple. Hymn to Nobunaga controls the entire world through his tower, but one day becomes his vassal Akechi Mitsuhide He challenges him and the two engage in a fight and the result is what gives rise to this story. In one reality, Nobunaga wins and in the other Akechi is the winner, this causes the timeline to split and this is shown with the splitting of the tower, one for each possibility. The towers will grow infinitely and each plant will be used for different things such as a pleasure house, torture, crops or forges, but with each new challenge the tower lord presents himself, new towers and realities appear.
As we said, a premise that seems like a seed, but ends up becoming a spectacular lucky dish. Load He introduces us to a very heartfelt concept, the multiverse. The author focuses on realities to simplify the concept, even if it is still not entirely easy.
Even though they share the same characters, the two towers will have very different plots, although what is interesting here is not what is told, but how it is told. Load knows how to use a medium like comics to tell different realities in parallel (literally). A very original way of representing the different worlds, although sometimes it can be overwhelming due to the repetition of images or texts, but it is part of what the artist wants to show and represent. Without a doubt, few manga or comics will take advantage of the multiverse in such an original way. It is a very interesting volume for those looking for an alternative reading.
The narration of the realities through the towers is very suggestive, but part of this attraction lies in the artistic section. With its fine and clean line, Load It gives us a spectacular work full of details that amazes for its artistic quality. Of course we have already said at the beginning that the mangaka uses eroguro, so we are faced with a very impressionable work due to some scenes shown. From torture, to mutilations, to physical deformations and explicit and rather shady sexual scenes. It is not a work recommended for minors or sensitive people, if you are not part of any of these groups you can browse The Infinite Palace and surprise you (or scandalize you) with the proposal of Load.
The Infinite Palace Edition of Moztros
Butts brings us the work of Load with an unusual edition for a manga, which is normal, since the original work is in English published by an Italian publisher called Hollow Press. This means that the comic is read in a Western sense, from left to right, and has an unusual format, 17 x 24 cm with a rustic format with flaps. It consists of a total of 288 pages in black and white (some in color) with good quality paper. The volume is on sale for €22.00.
The Infinite Palace is a highly recommended work for those who love alternative reading. Kago does a truly bizarre work that amazes both for its originality in terms of plot and way of telling it, and for its very impressionable scenes. Due to the use of parallel realities, it can sometimes seem a bit overloaded, yes, but that is part of the charm of this work. And don’t worry if you just read it and don’t fully understand what is happening, it is totally crazy, although we assure you that it will not disappoint readers who dare to watch this fantastic comic.

Reality is about to fragment!
In this unthinkable uchronia, Oda Nobunaga took control of the entire world and settled in a palace as imposing as it is immense. His most faithful subject, Akechi Mitsuhide, betrays him and challenges him to a duel for control of the planet. In one reality, Nobunaga wins. In the other, he loses. The palace, along with the timeline, is split in two and both possibilities now coexist as neighbors!
From that premise as original as it is impossible, the most violent, morbid and eschatological chaos imaginable unfolds. An exploration of the concept of the multiverse as perverse as only a master of the brush could think of. Shintaro Kago offers us his latest work, and he does it in double play, since it includes both The Princess of the Infinite Palace and its spin-off, The Twelve!
