
Ghibli’s beloved fans My neighbor Totoro Can more closely see the last star of adaptation in a new official trailer.
According to a press release, official production, which has played the Gillian Lynne Theater in London since March, follows an acclaimed race at the Barbican. Based on the beloved film from Studio Ghibli from 1986, the play was written by Tom Morton-Smith with music by Joe Hisishi. It presents a number of puppets alongside human actors, as well as songs from the singer Ai Ninomiya. The production has already won six Olivier Awards and five Whatsonstage prices, as well as the Barbican box office record for most of the tickets sold in one day in April 2022.
