Professor Kukui is unusual among other solid Pokémon coaches due to the fact that he runs a double life. He is mainly known to be a teacher at the Alolan Pokémon school. This career is emblematic of Professor Kukui’s impressive knowledge surrounding Pokémon, something that surely gives him an advantage in battles. His true strength in combat passes when he assumes his secret identity of the masked Royal.

Professor Kukui’s incinerator is particularly powerful because it can use the Moonsault M-Move. Despite the fight against coaches in a handicap when he was disguised in the Royal Masked, Professor Kukui proved his prowess against the fight against the fight, using his Inciroar to beat Machamp, Decigueye and Primarina of his opponents. Known not only under the name of a strong coach, but also as Sage, Alder had won his place as champion of the Unova League because of his prowess. While Iris takes care of the position when Pokémon Journeys Performs, the fact that he was the champion for a while indicates that he is still a Pokémon coach to note. During his time as a champion of the UNOVA League, Alder defeated Trip, who had already beat coaches such as ASH, which proves the skills of Alder.

Despite his important combat talent, Alder remains humble, however. He encourages young coaches to do their best to get a stronger trip, even inspiring in a flashback. His kindness towards others and Pokémon is perhaps part of the reason why he is not even stronger, because he does not seem to prioritize the battles as much as we expect from a champion. However, he still had a title indicating his unique force.

Tobias was the only coach who could stop the Sinnoh race of Ash

Tobias only uses legendary Pokémon

Tobias can be one of the most hated characters of PokémonBut we cannot deny his skills as a trainer. Starting from nowhere to the Lily of the Valley conference, Tobias apparently exists because he was not ASH time to win a league, but it had been made too strong through the Diamond and pearl Seasons to lose against anyone fairly. Tobias sweeps his competition to the semi-finals of the Lily of the Valley conference, beating entire teams from his opponents with only his Darkrai.

Steven’s strongest Pokémon are his AGGRON, Cradily and Megametagross. Unfortunately for Steven, he and his friends can never taste an impressive victory.

His battle with Alain in the Mega Evolution Specials is interrupted by Lysandre, although this stage, he would certainly have won.
