The following contains spoilers for opus, now playing in theaters. It also contains a mention of suicide.

Regarding artistic horror, A24 continues to launch jewels. The studio is known for romantic and independent films, as well as action films like Alex Garland Civil war And War. But it created horrors such as Hereditary And Talk to me.

However, all horror films involve demons. Some are brain and anchored stories filled with tension and suspense. Opus is an excellent example. He focuses on a musical worship called America levels that invites a group of people to see how they behave. It quickly turns into a sinister journey that makes a declaration on fragile egos, and how journalism can be used in bad guys.

Talk to me is a captivating and underestimated A24 horror that mixes supernatural horror with sorrow and dependence.

Worship in Opus is led by Moretti by John Malkovich. He invites Ariel (Ayo Edebiri) and his boss in his newspaper, Stan. Clara, the influencer Emily, Paparazzi Bianca, and Radio Shock Jock, Bill. Over time, people disappear and Ariel becomes suspect, because they all have dedicated concierges that follow them. She wonders if they are targets by these guards, but Stan ignores his concerns. Ariel ends up being right, because Bill and Emily are hacked and poisoned to death, respectively.

At this point, Opus gives off an atmosphere like In the middle of the summer. During a puppet show, it becomes clear that acolytes hate criticism, who are the people they have invited. This program is an act of revenge, because they do not support that criticisms and criticisms hamper art by sometimes denigning it. It talks about the narcissism of Moretti and despise how his own projects have obtained bad criticism. Although he wants a world where art can be done freely, it is a toxic person who thinks that he is above criticism.

The disciples of Moretti buy his philosophy, and chaos follows when the cult stab and bianca to death. Ariel tries to flee, only to learn that there will be mass suicide that night. Worship plans to drink poisoned champagne in a performance that they think is the perfect act of art. Clara is also forced to drink the poison. Moretti thinks that this will bring them closer to divine beings who want humanity to continue to push the envelope in a creative way. He considers himself an emissary and his disciples as avatars intended to transcend humanity. Anyone who tries to hinder them via bad criticisms must be punished and shot down.

The cunning explains why there were none of the cultists’ corpses on the spot. They left and returned to their influential positions in society. This shows how dedicated they are to their profession. All levels of levels are alive and secretly disseminate the lessons thatiel has published. He thanks Ariel for spreading her ideology, which leaves her sick. She didn’t think she – being so intelligent – could never be transformed into a pawn.

Ariel finds herself in a television program, noting the host wearing a pearl necklace like levels. She knows they are there, disguised and build their network. The film ends with Ariel by accepting the truth. It is quite thoughtful in his position, nodding to other A24 films like HereticWhen the latter spoke of religion. In OpusCultists enlighten people and condition them to think like Moretti. The burned boss is only an integral part of all this. This does not care to be the price for the company to continue and is a sacrifice that it willingly does. His speech is also perfect revenge after all the guests have dropped him in the past, whether via a criticism or a bad photo.

The more Ariel becomes popular, the more cult in notoriety and the more the Gospel of Moretti is rooted in the masses. In this story, people want to join Moretti’s family, express themselves and rail against things like limited speech, hinder the expression and cancel culture. This is why many blindly follow celebrities. Moretti represents freedom, coming out like modern politicians who continue to defend everyone and say what they want. In his eyes, it is the real unrestrained goal of art, even when it is hollow, deadly and dislocated.

Paul Rudd and Jenna Ortega kill a mythical beast in the death of an A24 trailer

A24’s new bizarre film features Paul Rudd and Jenna Ortega.

The interesting thing about Opus Doesn’t he necessarily paint Ariel as a hero. She is the protagonist and she does her job. But part of it is to sensitize history, which most entertainment journalists do. It did not fully cover the remaining evidence, do not fulfill the story in a creative way, nor not investigating the missing bodies. She rushed to take out her novel, to earn the money that Stan refused her and forge a career that she might never have had without the cult of the film A24. As such, she was not fully responsible.

These are the loose moral Moretti stressed when he slandered the media. They run to get there first rather than doing things correctly. He holds this mirror and thinks about Ariel. She feels like a hypocrite. If she had focused on all angles, she could have been able to better demonize the cult and expose that she was a puppet. Instead, Ariel makes a mistake by giving them increased attention in her pages, without realizing that she is still part of a meta-act in progress. In the end, it is the crisis of consciousness and faith with which it is found.

Ariel presents a right, because history is hers, and she has experienced crime. As such, she should get the first crack to announce news in her long way. Unfortunately, Moretti is a categorical people as it is part of the problem. They remain silent on their own mistakes and continue to enjoy the bad guys like him. One cannot help rooting for Ariel even when the film ends, but its guilt and its self-doubt indicate that it thinks that Moretti is right on the institution of the press, their ulterior motives and their criticisms with selfish agendas.
