The extended cast of Superman has added a new member to the role of Perry White.
James Gunn has already found the actor to play Perry White.

The Hollywood Reporter’s Wendell Pierce revealed at the Daily Planet that he will star alongside Perry White, Clark Kent and Lois Lane’s boss. Pierce is best known for playing detective Bunk Moreland in the HBO series Undercover and being a part of shows like Jack Ryan, PowerBook III: Raising Kanan, and The Key to Success. In addition, the actor has appeared on the big screen thanks to films such as Burning Cane, Selma and Clemeni.
Wendell Pierce is confirmed to be the latest member of the extensive cast of the first DCU movie, and with Gunn’s recent announcements, more surprises may be revealed in the coming days.
Superman hits theaters on July 11, 2025.
