Harley Quinn and her gang make their first anime debut with Suicide Squad Isekai.
Warner Bros. Discovery and DC Comics have announced the long-awaited international release date for the Suicide Squad Isekai anime series. Fans of Harley Quinn and her fellow villains are about to see their favorite characters in an exciting new format.
First and episode schedule
According to a press release, the Suicide Squad Isekai anime series will premiere its first three episodes on June 27 on Max (formerly HBO Max) and Hulu in North America. Internationally, the comic-inspired series will be aired on Aniplus and Laftel in Korea, ADN in France and HBO GO for Southeast Asia, Taiwan and Hong Kong. Behind this new series is Witt Studio, known for its work on “Attack on Titan” and the upcoming “One Piece” for Netflix. The Suicide Squad Isekai series will consist of 10 episodes with the following broadcast schedule.

Suicide Squad Isekai’s official synopsis presented by Warner Bros. Discovery describes the epic story: “Argus leader Amanda Waller gathers notorious criminals for a mission: Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Peacemaker, Clayface and King Shark.” These DC supervillains are sent through a portal to another world connected to our own. It’s a world of sword and sorcery where orcs roam free and dragons rule the skies – ‘Isakai!’
The description goes on to say: “Harley Quinn and the others went crazy after arriving at Isekai; However, they were captured by the kingdom’s soldiers and taken to prison. They have only 72 hours before the bombs planted around their necks explode.
After talking to Queen Aldora, his release depends on the victory of his enemies, the enemy imperial army. Squad members have no choice but to rush into battle head-on.
