The House of the Dragon: Season 2 will feature a powerful new witch, among other new characters
Second season of The House of the Dragon has announced its first major cast of actors, which includes two relatively important characters for the future plot of the new season. Another season that will be shorter than usual.
The series is currently in production and as such, four new actors have been announced to join the plot. According to Variety, Gayle Rankin will play Alys Rivers, a powerful witch from Harrenhall who has mysterious visions of the future and becomes a valuable ally for the Greens.
Simon Russell Beale He will play Ser Simon Strong, a seasoned knight who is now Lord of Harrenhal after his great-nephew orchestrated the deaths of Lyonel and Harwin in the first season.
The House of the Dragon incorporates the brother of Alicent Hightower
Freddie Fox will play Ser Gwayne Hightower, who is Alicent’s brother and an officer of the City Watch. Finally, Abubakar Salim will play Alyn of Hull, a sailor in Velaryon’s fleet.
That dance of the dragons is set to go full force this new season as the series continues to expand its scope and scope. Rumor has it that Harrenhal will be a strategic stronghold in Season 2.
