The 2nd season of the finale starts today, March 14 and strange things are happening in the arena. The hacked collective CNS has put the competition in jeopardy, and the directors are scrambling to decipher the cryptic messages, but one thing is clear: the show must go on!
Watch the season two trailer for the finale here:
The new season comes loaded with news and content. In this new season, participants can experiment with the new equipment added to each class. Players will also get access to the bug map SYS$HORIZON, the new 5v5 Power Shift mode, the new league system based on player skill, weekly rewards progression, private matches (currently in beta with limitations), and the new Hacker Playstyle. It adds new ways for participants to transform the platform.
The latter introduces a new gadget system and a new specialization
The new Hacker Playstyle comes to an end to allow players to become part of the CNS. Hacker Playstyle introduces new gadgets and new specializations that can be combined with the equipment players already have. Avoid walls, destroy gravity, cross the sand through tunnels and change objects: crash the system, become the best cyber strategist and give the game a new dimension.
The Dematerializer: A device that temporarily removes physical surfaces such as walls, ceilings, or windows, allowing contestants to see, shoot, and pass through. Create new passages and close them again: turn every obstacle into an open door. The Antigravity Cube: An actionable cube that manipulates the gravity of its immediate surroundings, lifting competitors and objects! Is it a scrolling tool? Or a defensive weapon? It depends on each contestant! The Gate: Deploy a pair of limited ports! When both are raised and activated, competitors and items can be moved between the two areas. Anyone can use portals, but players can’t see or shoot through them! These ports are perfect for a quick escape when the situation becomes dangerous. Data Transformer: A gadget that turns an enemy fortress (or any random object) into something completely different, turning an enemy mine into a chair. Or the enemy tourist on the table. Great for breaking through enemy defenses!
All units receive new weapons: the light, 93R burst machine gun; The mediums, the new FAMS blaster rifle; And the heavies, the new KS-23 pump gun.
CNS has access to source files and materials and has added its own platform SYS$HORIZON to the scene. This shiny map features neon-filled cityscapes and features a mix of portrait and landscape gameplay. Voxel bridges connect the buildings, and floating geometric pieces allow contestants to parkour around the stage. SYS$HORIZON is not fully loaded on the servers, so it’s a sight to behold especially at night.

In addition, the final season 2 will include Power Shift, a new 5v5 casual game mode where two teams compete to dominate the stage. If the enemy team interferes, the stage will stop or change direction completely. Be careful, the platform destroys everything in its path and can be shaken by the laws of physics. Players can change classes as they relearn, allowing them to balance their weapons on the fly and refine their strategies.
In Season 2, participants will be able to compete in an updated league system, which will increase rewards to match the competitive experience. The new progression system offers players weekly rewards from season sponsors. Additionally, participants can advance from rookie to pro status by completing contracts in the new season.
This and more will be available in the 2nd finale. The Ultimates is available for free on PC via Steam, PC cloud streaming via NVIDIA GeForce Now, Xbox Game Store and PlayStation Store.
