According to Ryan Reynolds, Deadpool and Wolverine can’t be called that.
Before it was confirmed what Deadpool 3 would be called, different titles were being rumored for the Marvel Cinematic Universe movie. Now, Ryan Reynolds himself has revealed that one of them is the real deal.
Deadpool and Wolverine’s first title
Reynolds appeared on Jimmy Kimmel with Hugh Jackman! Live, and there he revealed that the MCU movie has another name.
“I’ve never told this story anywhere, but the movie was originally called ‘Deadpool & Friend.’ I’m not kidding. It came out on the eve of the Super Bowl and the first Super Bowl when we released the trailer for ‘Deadpool & not Friend but Wolverine.’
“Because an internet bastard took the title away. We saw it and heard it and hated that title and never felt good about it.
Deadpool and Wolverine is showing in theaters now.
