The latest rumors about the MCU have revealed possible news on projects like Marvel, Brave New World, X-Men and more.

Let’s start with the latest news from last week. Instagram page Atlanta Films shared a photo of actor Benedict Wong, best known for his role in Doctor Strange, asking, “Why will The Witcher be in Cap 4?” With a surprising caption. Unsurprisingly, this quickly turned into a rumor that Wong would appear in Brave New World. However, it seems that the 3 Body Problem actor was in the middle of reshoots for the Marvel movie and was simply in town filming another project.

Clarifying rumors

The photographer explained in a new post: “Yes, he’s in town. People have seen him walking around midtown. But they have to wait to find out if the spell is working or not. He is filming another project but that doesn’t mean he is working or not filming for Cap 4. If you want to imagine a plot with or without him, that’s fine with me. But I’m not going to tell them if they’re right or if they’re… (you know this joke is coming)… wrong.”

The MTTSH informant also spoke in the following words:

“Well, I looked into it and there’s no Wong in Brave New World :(.”

X-Men and the MCU

Continuing with the rumors, My Cosmic Circus has heard that the mutants will not be making their debut in the Marvel Universe until after Avengers: Secret Wars. If this is true, it contradicts previous reports that suggested alternate heroes will be a part of the big movie event. The site added that the team’s introduction after Secret Wars “will be explained in Deadpool and Wolverine.”

Scarlet Witch, Captain America: Brave New World, MCU, Wonder Man, X-Men

This delay may have to do with the complexity of integrating the X-Men into the existing Marvel Universe. Additionally, the eagerness to see these iconic characters can be part of a strategy to keep fans interested and anticipating how events will play out.

A Scarlet Witch movie is in the works.

Another one that has been leaking for a while is Wanda’s solo film. Although we haven’t heard anything official yet, My Cosmic Circus is adamant that the project is definitely underway, although “it’s still in the conceptual stage, they’re trying to define the story.”

The opportunity to create a film based on Wanda Maximoff is very exciting, especially after the success of the Wanda Vision series. This film could further explore the witch’s powers and her impact on the multiverse, which is the focus of MCU Season 4.

Wonder Woman on Disney+

Finally, in a report on Yahya Abdul-Mateen II’s departure from the new Man On Fire series, Deadline mentions that the planned Wonder Man series for Disney+ — which is still in development — will run for 10 episodes. Although not exactly a rumor, this small update doesn’t warrant a full article, but it’s important for fans of the Marvel Universe.

The Wonder Man series promises to be an exciting addition to the Disney+ catalog, exploring a lesser-known but fascinating character from the Marvel Universe. With 10 confirmed episodes, fans can expect a well-developed and action-packed narrative.

Scarlet Witch, Captain America: Brave New World, MCU, Wonder Man, X-Men

The MCU continues to expand with exciting rumors and developments. From Wong’s upcoming appearance in Brave New World, the long-awaited post-Secret Wars X-Men debut, and the Wanda movie, there’s a lot to look forward to. The Wonder Man series on Disney+ also adds a new chapter to this expansive universe. Stay tuned for more updates and never stop speculating about what’s next in the ever-expanding world of the MCU.
