Netflix Scott Pilgrim Anime series reunites film cast


The Netflix anime series that reunites the original cast of Scott Pilgrim promises to be a wild ride

The popular graphic novel ‘Scott Pilgrim’ is coming to Netflix in the form of an anime series, and it’s doing so with a surprise for fans of the film: the entire main cast of the original film has been reunited to voice their characters in the series.

Graphic novel creator Bryan Lee O’Malley will write and produce the anime version alongside BenDavid Grabinski, who will also serve as co-directors. Edgar Wright, who directed and co-wrote the film, will produce via Complete Fiction alongside Nira Park. Marc Platt, Jared LeBoff and Adam Seigel of Marc Platt Productions will also produce, as will Michael Bacall.

The original cast of Scott Pilgrim reunites

First announced in January 2022, the series has officially been ordered to series. The production will be done by UCP and it will have animation by Science SARU, with Eunyoung Choi in charge of executive production and Abel Gongora in charge of direction.

The series will also feature music by Anamanaguchi, who composed the music for the game. ‘Scott Pilgrim Against the World’and they will work on the score with Joseph Trapanese.

Other cast members will be announced later.
