In Moon Knight, we meet another Marvel superhero, Scarlet Beetle, and thanks to the series’ art book, we can see the most amazing concepts for her costume.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) has given us a visual feast with the “Moon Knight” series, and recently, concept art was revealed that leads us to surprises and possibilities in the design of the Scarlet Beetle superhero. The images show an amalgamation of styles for this character’s first costume in the MCU, showing off a number of options that can completely change his look.

The birth of the Scarlet Beetle in the MCU

While there is still no official confirmation about the second season of “Moon Knight”, the end of the first season has us worried about the future of Jake Lockley and the introduction of the Scarlet Beetle, a superhero created specifically for the MCU. In this new concept art, several designs are revealed for the character Leila El-Fouly, played by May Kalamaoui.

As for his character’s future in the MCU, Kalamaui expressed his desire to meet other popular characters like Dr. Strange or Blade, the latter played by his previous co-star Mahershala Ali.

Directed by Mohamed Diab, with a team of Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead (dispelling rumors of George Clooney) and Jeremy Slater as head writer, the series is an exploration of complex identities and rich mythology. Kevin Feige and other executive producers have crafted a narrative that captures the essence of mystery and adventure.
